We have an 8 month old dachshund and we have failed to potty train her. We take her out in we she wakes up, after a nap, eats and before sleeping but she will only go pee outside. The rest of the time she will go and poop in the laundry room. It is VERY rarely that she will poop outside. Each time she goes to the bathroom outside she gets a treat! My wirehaired dachshund started having back issues a little over a month ago. She had problems with a left leg that she couldn’t use. I since crated her and took her to the vet and she gave her Prednisone and pain pills. She can use her leg now and is much better but she is still in pain. How long before the pain goes away?
