My dachshund has gone paralyzed in his back legs what should i do

We are getting a new little girl. We already have a boy named Oscar Mayer and cant decide on a name for the girl. We want it to stay with the weiner or hot dog theme so I have either Vienna after Vienna Sausage or Frenchy after French’s Mustard. Which one do you like better. We want the name we choose to sound good with Oscar and to match the theme well. Thanks for your help! I just cant decide!

i’ve had my doxie for about 2 months (shes 5 months old). We are on a good routine. She goes outside when i take her. But she will still have 1 accident about every 2 days. She never really goes to the door to want out. Curious as to how long it took you.

I have two dachsies that would actually go inside the house to do their business on the carpet. What can I do to teach them to go outside?

She sleeps with me. When she burrows under the covers, she almost always licks for several minutes, creating a large (4-6 inch) wet spot. Why does she do this? How do I get her to stop?
I want her to stop because it’s annoying to roll over in bed and roll into a wet spot she left!
