Bald spots appeared out of nowhere. Blood tests come up normal. The tips of her ears also bleed suddenly. Again, the vet is stumped.
Thanks to everyone for your answers. She is almost 3 years old and we have never changed her food, shampoo, or anything else that she uses regularly. She also had not received any shots or medicines when this started happening. It was very sudden and has gotten worse over the past 2 months.
Also, in contrast to “hot spots” these bald spots do not bother her. They are just completley dry, hairless spots. She does not lick, scratch, or pay attention to them in any way.
My mini dachshund is developing bald spots but its not mites or anything the vet can find. Any ideas?

3My family and I have been looking for a dog for more than 2 or 3 months. So can you help us?
I’ve heard that the food is very high in protein levels. Is it dangerous? My dog weighs around 10 pounds. Is it safe?
My dachshund just started having trouble with his neck..the vet told us that he has a bulging disc and when he turns his neck wrong it pinches a nerve and makes him cry out heart rinching cries. the surgery is too expensive and doesnt guarentee he will come out of it but what kind of therapies are avaliable in Louisiana that we could obtain or what kind of therapy could we do with him at home that would help this condition.
I really want a chocolate and tan standard dachshund. AKC is not necessary. Does anyone know where to find a puppy for a resonable price?
Around AZ would be fine, but I still haven’t been able to find what I’m looking for. Also, I want a male puppy.
